What Update 5.5 adds to Anime Astral Simulator
Anime Astral Simulator Update 5.5 is a mid-patch expansion: it finishes Fire City quest content, backfills older maps with new systems, and adds the Leveling Skill Tree — one of the strongest free-to-play power sinks in July 2026.
Search traffic for anime astral simulator update 5.5 spikes whenever Astral Team ships a .5 patch — smaller than a full world drop but packed with quality-of-life fixes and horizontal progression. Update 5.5 specifically targets players who already unlocked Fire City and Solo City but still need structured power gains without spending Robux.
The official Trello Update Log lists eight headline features: World 9 Quest, Wano Demon Fruits Gacha, Solo City Relics, Shadow Relic, Leveling Skill Tree, More Drops Gamepass, Wolf Mount speed increase, and Fire Force dungeon portals every 15 minutes. This guide maps each feature to an in-game location and a recommended priority for free-to-play accounts.
Cross-check every multiplier against the live Trello board after hotfixes — Update 5.5 also fixed pet percentage bonuses, dungeon wave spawning, gacha roll achievements, and teleport requirements. If something feels wrong in-game, rejoin or check the roadmap page before grinding the wrong map.
Update 5.5 feature highlights
World 9 Quest
Completes the Fire City quest chain — unlock world boss portal and world token rewards.
Demon Fruits Gacha
New Wano Island banner — Power and Luck lines; tokens also drop in Defense mode.
Solo City relics
Relic drops extended to Solo City bosses — farm tokens on map five and secret bosses.
Shadow relic
Adds Drop rate to the relic board — pairs with More Drops gamepass farming.
Leveling Skill Tree
Solo City nodes up to +15% Power, Damage, and Yen — tokens from Gate Rank portals.
More Drops gamepass
+5 extra items per drop for 3,000 F2P Tickets — top pick for relic and dungeon farms.
World 9 Quest — Fire City quest chain
The World 9 Quest was planned for Update 5 but shipped fully in Update 5.5. It gates the Fire City world boss portal and world token coin for accounts that already entered Fire City.
Quest objectives follow the standard Fire City pattern: defeat named elites such as Joker, clear smaller enemy quotas along the main path, and finish kill counts on basic mobs. High-range builds can complete the route by moving up and down the central lane — you do not need perfect pathing if your AoE covers the spawn band.
Rewards include the world token coin and access to the world boss portal if you had not unlocked it yet. Power gains from the quest itself are modest compared to skill tree nodes or a Divine pet upgrade — treat it as a gate, not a power spike.
If the secret portal still appears during the quest chain, finish required kills before attempting optional secret content. Quest progress resets are rare after the Update 5.5 teleport fix, but rejoin if your HUD stops updating.
- Location: Fire City — follow top-right quest tracker.
- Strategy: high-range AoE along the main enemy lane.
- Reward: world token + boss portal unlock.

Wano Demon Fruits Gacha
Update 5.5 adds a Demon Fruits gacha to Wano Island — structurally similar to the Dragon Ball star system on Namek City. Rolls consume Demon Fruit tokens and grant Power and Luck lines on the fruit slot.
Tokens drop from Wano Island content and, importantly, from Defense mode — Defense has become a strong horizontal farm because multiple token types converge there. If you already run Defense for other currencies, add Demon Fruit tokens to your daily loop.
Early UI showed Yen icons on some fruit rolls — treat that as a display bug until patched. Verify actual stat lines on the roll result panel before equipping. Power-and-Luck fruits suit boss-push accounts; Yen-focused players can skip deep investment until Wano is comfortable.
Do not reroll fruits with auto-reroll bound to another system. Pause star or shiny auto-roll before spending Wano tickets on the new banner.
- Location: Wano Island — same island as Mihawk craft and White Beard boss.
- Stats: primarily Power and Luck on successful rolls.
- Token farm: Wano maps plus Defense mode for efficient bulk drops.
Leveling Skill Tree in Solo City
The Leveling Skill Tree is the headline power system in Anime Astral Simulator Update 5.5 — incremental account-wide buffs purchased with Leveling Tokens.
Find the skill tree NPC on the left side of Solo City. The UI may not show a map icon immediately after patch — walk the left plaza if your HUD marker is missing. The tree mirrors Slime-RNG-style node paths: three tracks for Power, Damage, and Yen with rising token costs per level.
Official Trello costs for the Power, Damage, and Yen tracks: Level 1 costs 250 Leveling Tokens for +5%; Level 2 costs 500 for +5%; Level 3 costs 1,000 for +10%; Level 4 costs 2,000 for +10%; Level 5 costs 4,000 for +10%; Level 6 costs 8,000 for +15%. Budget tokens before spreading across all three tracks — most DPS accounts max Damage first, then Power, then Yen.
Leveling Tokens drop from Gate Rank (W8) portals in Solo City that spawn every 10 minutes. Treat Gate Rank like E-Gates: set a timer, clear the portal on spawn, and bank tokens before spending on low-tier nodes. Accounts that ignore Solo City after unlocking Fire City should return specifically for this farm.
Skill tree percentages stack multiplicatively with potions, accessories, relics, and pet passives. A full Damage track to level six is worth more than another week of random gacha pulls for mid-game accounts stuck below Fire City boss thresholds.
Leveling Skill Tree costs (Trello)
| Level | Token cost | Buff per track |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 250 | +5% Power / Damage / Yen |
| 2 | 500 | +5% |
| 3 | 1,000 | +10% |
| 4 | 2,000 | +10% |
| 5 | 4,000 | +10% |
| 6 | 8,000 | +15% |
Solo City relics and Shadow relic
Update 5.5 extends relic drops to Solo City bosses and adds the Shadow relic line for Drop rate. Open Inventory → Relics to inspect filled slots — Dragon Ball for Power, fruit for Luck, ninja for Yen, time for Damage, shadow for Drop.
Relic tokens drop from any boss that displays a relic icon. Prior worlds five and under still work for token farming; Solo City secret bosses now join the pool. Run a Drop rate build — shadow relic plus More Drops gamepass dramatically increases tokens per hour.
Fill relic slots before buying cosmetic mounts or duplicate banner pulls. A complete relic board is cheaper than chasing 0.07% accessory drops on Fire City boss.
More Drops, Wolf Mount, and dungeon timer
More Drops gamepass costs 3,000 F2P Tickets in the shop and grants +5 extra of every item you pick up. For relic token farms and Fire Force dungeon currency, the pass often pays for itself within a few sessions — prioritize it over duplicate Remote Access if you already own core farming passes.
Wolf Mount received a speed buff in Update 5.5. Movement speed matters for dungeon portals on a 15-minute timer — mount between Fire City and the dungeon entrance instead of dash-chaining across the map.
Fire Force dungeon portals now open every 15 minutes instead of 30. Align Gate Rank (10 minutes) and dungeon (15 minutes) timers on a simple schedule: clear Gate Rank when it spawns, then check Fire City for the dungeon portal before returning to banner farming.
Update 5.5 also fixed players falling into the void inside dungeons, duplicate wave spawns in the same room, pet percentage bonuses not applying correctly, gacha roll achievements, teleport requirements, and sword banner two — rejoin after patch if any of those blocked your account.
Update 5.5 codes to redeem
Redeem the Update 5.5 batch after every patch: UPDATE5.5, 35KLIKES, 40MVISITS, SKILLTREE, and SORRYFORSHUTDOWN10. Each active code in the July 2026 table grants 150 F2P Tickets and potions unless marked expired.
Stack Update 5.5 codes with the Update 5 batch (UPDATE5, 50KFAVS, PETPASSIVES, DUNGEONS) and evergreen codes on a fresh server. Use tickets for More Drops and Remote Access before cosmetic bundles.
Codes are case-sensitive and server-specific for legacy bundles. The codes wiki updates within 24 hours of Astral Team announcements — bookmark it before each .5 patch.
Update 5.5 integration with existing systems
Stack Update 5.5 systems instead of treating each as standalone content. Example daily loop: redeem codes → clear Gate Rank for Leveling Tokens → spend tokens on Damage nodes → run Fire Force dungeon on portal spawn → farm relic tokens with More Drops active.
Demon Fruits gacha on Wano Island complements the Namek star system — accounts that already run Defense for tokens should add Wano fruit rolls without changing maps. Power-and-Luck fruits help Fire City boss pushes more than Yen lines at this stage.
Shadow relic Drop rate stacks with More Drops gamepass and Drop potions — triple-stack before a Solo City secret boss session if you still need relic tokens for empty slots.
If the skill tree icon does not appear on your Solo City HUD after patch, walk the left plaza manually. Astral Team hotfixes UI markers quickly on .5 patches — rejoin once before reporting a missing feature.
Update 5.5 priority order
- Redeem every Update 5.5 code on the codes page.
- Finish World 9 Quest in Fire City for boss portal access.
- Buy More Drops gamepass if you farm relics or dungeons daily.
- Farm Gate Rank portals for Leveling Tokens — max Damage track first.
- Roll Wano Demon Fruits if Power/Luck builds need a boost.
- Fill Shadow relic and Solo City relic slots.
- Run Fire Force dungeon every 15 minutes for passive currency.
- Use Wolf Mount for faster portal travel between maps.
